Saeed Ghasseminejad, Ph.D.

Born and raised in Iran, he co-founded the Liberal Students and Graduates Organization at the University of Tehran. His student activism led to his arrest by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He was later sentenced to prison by the Islamic Revolutionary Court.

Saeed received degrees in engineering and finance in Iran and France and obtained his Ph.D. in finance from the City University of New York. His work has been published in international publications such as Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, Jerusalem Post, National Post, CNBC, and Fox News.
