Washington, DC — NUFDI is proud to announce that celebrated guitarist and musician Babak Amini is joining the organization’s Advisory Council. He joins other leaders across the Iranian-American community in advising on NUFDI’s ongoing and expanding activities. NUFDI Board Chairman Shahpar Razmzan commented:
“Mr. Amini is one of our community’s most widely-respected artists. As both a human and a humanitarian, he is second to none. In addition to the beauty of his craft as a guitarist, he is a staunch advocate for the people of Iran. It was our sincere pleasure to collaborate with him at NUFDI’s inaugural Norooz Gala and now we’re thrilled to work with him more closely on the Advisory Council.”
Mr. Amini is currently preparing for an international tour and is currently based in Canada. You can read his full bio here.
